THE DAY

Today is the day. We have finally reached the season seven premiere date. That's right September 26th, the long awaited day, is here. And tonight, in the glow of our television screens, all Gilmore fans will follow Rory in her last year at Yale and Lorelai as she let's life take her on a journey from Luke. Expect massive amounts of wit, fast pace Gilmore ramble, overwhelming character changes and most of all - racketball, rocketships and tension out the wazoo!

Airing tonight is episode 7.01: The Long Morrow. Below are few refresher tips to ease you back into the lovely and crazy Gilmore world...

1. The Rule of Pudding: Fans know that it ain't Gilmore Girls without a little pudding. After all, Lorelai worships it. She has a bowl up on the mantel at home with the Virgin Mary, a glass of wine and a dollar bill next to it. So you bet that I'll be munching down on some pudding. Chocolate pudding to be exact, and it's homemade. Yep, homemade pudding from my mother's kitchen. Mmmmm...can't wait!

2. A Box of Kleenex: This rule is mainly for those L/L fans. I hear that Luke might have this group crying...apparently his scene with Lorelai toward the end of the episode is the best that he's ever had. But don't rejoice too much L/C fans. It appears that you may need a box of tissues at the beginning of the episode. If you'd like to know why L/C fans might need a box, check out the Director'c Cut of the spoiler video. It's got juice. Trust me.

3. VCR: It's the only way to fly back. Remember, writers, especially the GG people, throw tons of cultural references from movies to books to music to whatever. Plus, it allows you to rewatch and rehash those die-hard moments over and over again.

4. Ejoy!

Note that these tips go along with who I am, so you might have to make adjustments or disreguard them altogether. Either way, I just want you to be all set for the night. I know I will!

Now, let's talk recap. I plan on eating my pudding, typing my thoughts and watching the episode at the same time. It's natural that I'm a multi-tasker, so hopefully I'll get something post by tonight. If not, you can expect something up bright and early tomorrow morning.
